 Hazrat Imam Ali says:

The human mouth is a prison for the human tongue.

Most of the domestic disputes are due to the unrestrained language of those who have unrestrained language (men, women) themselves all know that all this is happening because of me but remain silent by hiding themselves.

Because of your language

 Someone's home can be destroyed.


Someone may get divorced


Someone's siblings may be separated.

Someone's parents may be separated.

Someone's honor may be lost

Someone's relationship (engagement) can break up.


One's children can be separated from the mother's affection.

Someone's friendship may end.

Someone's love can turn into hate.

One's happiness can turn into sorrow.

 You can lose someone's trust.

Someone's friends can become enemies.

They can even cause death

Tongues can be so dangerous if left unchecked.




Controlling the language will solve the problem on its own.




There will always be remorse for speaking and not for silence.




 Once a woman got into an argument with a young man over a dispute. After some discussion, the young man left, and the woman's anger continued. She wanted to avenge the fight somehow. She was also physically very weak. But he came up with another evil solution.


The woman started spreading false rumors to defame the young man that he was a "thief". That's what she used to say to everyone. Some wise people listened to him but many ignorant people also believed him. Two or three days later, someone's shop in the same area was burglarized. In the eyes of the people, the woman was already suspicious of the young man. The youth was arrested on suspicion of theft. But in a few days, when the real thief was found, the young man was released.


Upon her release, she complained to the local chief about abusing the woman, which led to her being called to the village panchayat. The woman kept cleaning to save herself. The chief ordered the woman that whatever false rumor you had spread against this young man. He wrote them all down on a piece of paper and then blew them up. The next day the young man was to be judged.


The woman obeyed the chief's order. The next day when the panchayat resumed. Everyone gathered. The woman begged for mercy. Sardar asked, "If you want to escape punishment, bring all the pieces of paper that you blew yesterday." The woman was upset and said that this is not possible.


Sardar replied to the woman that you have thus slandered the young man by spreading rumors in the air. You don't even know how far these false rumors have reached you. If you can't bring back the pieces of paper, how will they bring back the wrong words (rumors) that have come out of the whole language which has brought the young man into disrepute. People have lost their credibility. The woman bowed her head in embarrassment.


This story is a great lesson for those who do not control their language.


Too often we start spreading false rumors about people without confirmation and without thinking. Little do we know that this little thing can ruin someone else's life. That is why it is very important to think and confirm ten times before saying anything about someone.


Better a poor horse than no horse at all. And if he wants to speak, tell as much as you know and if it is true, it can be better for everyone.


Therefore, whatever harm or trouble a human being has is due to his own language.
